I'm on a lease agreement and I lost my job acouple of months ago I've tried to keep up with my payments through my family but I have gotten behind my landlord left me a note on the kitchen table last Saturday and it said that if I wasn't caught up by this Saturday to be out Saturday I have sought employment ever since I lost my job but a couple of weeks ago I fell on the property damaging my need bad enough to get surgery in the next few weeks so its been hard finding employment on crutches not being able to walk can he just throw me out Saturday without an eviction notice

Your landlord cannot leave you a note and tell you to get out. You have to be legally evicted according to the laws in your State.

First its not a good idea to piggyback your question on someone else's. This can lead to confusion. You should start a new thread. So I've moved your question to its own thread.

The eviction process generally goes like this. First the lanldord gives you a pay or quit notice, which sounds like what he did. The pay or quit strates that you have to bring your rent up to date or vacate. If you don't vacate by the stated period, then the landlord has to file for eviction in your local courts. A hearing will be scheduled, at which time you will be given the opportunity to show cause why you shouldn't be evicted.

More than likely, the judge will grant the eviction and set a date by which you have to vacate. If you still haven't left by then, the landlord can hire a sheriff to physcially remove you..
