Bryant 373LAV heater blows cold air.sorta
    Hey everybody,

Sorry if this has been answered before, but I scanned the forums (admittedly only the first couple of pages) and didn't really find any questions like mine.

I have a Bryant 373LAV w/ horizontal blower that doesn't work. When I turn on heat with the fan in auto nothing happens. When I turn the fan on manually then cold air comes out of the vents. I know it is getting power because of the fans, and because the red LED light stays on continually (no flashing error codes). This happened once before and I had a repairman come in for about 10 minutes who said something about a tripped breaker and then bounced after charging me $150. It worked for about a week but is now broken again. So I opened up the furnace... after turning off all the power of course, but couldn't find any such breakers inside of it. Anybody have any idea what is wrong with my furnace?

    Cheers,
    Lewis

There could be a fuse located somewhere inside the unit but other that that it could be almost anything.

If he was there a week earlier and the same problem occurred again then call him back. As service techs we hate call-backs but it is part of the process at times. If he found a blown fuse or a tripped breaker and didn't locate the reason for it then the return trip should be on him.
