My teeth keep breaking... some of the breaks hurt and others had a previous root canal so those don't hurt. I floss and brush regularly and have been to a periodontist... no gum disease. What else can I do to strengthen the teeth that I have left?

You should put crowns on the teeth that have large fillings in them. The larger the filling the greater the chance of the tooth breaking. Teeth that have had root canals should be crowned as they are very high risk of breaking since there is no nerve inside and become very brittle.
