HOT WATER BASEBOARD Heat line elevation allowance
I have a hot water boiler sitting in the utility room of a carriage house (aprox. 500sq.ft)
The garage is next to it and a small apartment above. The boiler sends the hot water upstairs and loops around the entire apartment before returning to the boiler downstairs.
I have a small bathroom next to the utility room where the boilwer is and I am afraid that the pipes could freeze. I would like to extend the return line that comes from the upstairs apartment and put a small fin tube in the floor of the bathroom downstairs, however I am afraid that I will be going below the return level of the boiler. Can I do this?
In other words the line that goes back to the boiler at about 2 feet from the floor would be brought to the floor and then back up!
    Any advise is much appreciated!

    Your pump should handle it.
