I'm really have been asking my father to take a D.N.A. test, is there anyway that my father could sue my mom for making him pay child support for the last 18 years?

I am uncertain, your dad is taking a DNA test after 18 years? Did he sign your birth certificate? How old are you now?

I'm unsure If the guy I have been calling dad is my biological father, I don't think he knows if he is either. If I asked him to take a D.N.A test and the results are that he is not my father. Could he sue my mother for making him pay childsupport for the last 18 years?

Do you love your father? Has he spent the last eighteen years helping to raise you, apparently at the very least he has been helping financially. Why would you want to drudge up this kindof heartache. What purpose will it serve?

As far as I know he accepted parental responsibility as soon as he put his name on your birth certificate. It's unlikely that he could sue your mom, especially after 18 years.

Most likely not because if he had any doubts he was your father he should've addressed it years ago by requesting a DNA test.

If his name is your birth certificate he is your father because at birth he must had signed the paternity acknowledgement. Therefore he had a fiancial obligation to support you so that means your mom had every right to go to court to request child support.

Why is you questioning if he's your father or not? What makes you think he isn't?
