    Unwanted windows at log on
Every time I log on appears a window that has a lot of Adobe folders. I have to delete it in order to continue. I do have Adobe 9 downloaded but I don't know about Acrobat reader. Is it telling me the download is incomplete or what? It's irritating and I don't know what to do to get rid of it. I don't really understand what Adobe/Acrobat reader does. Is it really necessary to have it at all? Thanks

Not sure of what you mean by a lot of Adobe folders

Adobe reader is a program to let you view .pdf files

    What does it say?

What I would do here is to go to control panel and then to add/remove programs and uninstall Adobe Reader , this should get rid of the files on startup.

Go from here and post back if any questions or problems

I don't have statistics on it, but a fairly high percentage of websites provide PDF downloads for things like user manuals, presentations, etc. Acrobat Reader lets you read these files.

Assuming you're on Windows, Foxit Readit is a small and fast alternative that can read most PDF files. If you're on a Mac, OS X reads and writes PDF files without an external application so you don't really need one.
