Okay... so my question is in regards to say a plate of cooked food. How long does it stay good for at room temperature. I understand IDEALLY it should be put in the fridge to save for later. But there are those certain circumstances where that is not possible. So say I go out to lunch (12 noon) and I have leftovers I save until after work are they still good 5 or 6 hours later when they have been left at room temperature? I don't want to poison myself KWIM LOL. So what should I do? How long does food last like that? What is the longest amount of time cooked food can safely be left at room temperature?Like 'pizza', 'ribs', 'chicken', 'hamburgers' etc...
