    Squeaky GE Profile Clothes Dryer
    Hello,
I have a GE Profile Plus model number DP5R513GA2WW which is now producing a high unbearable pitch. I already took off the top panal and sprayed WD on the belt. It solved the problem for about 2 minutes. Can anyone suggest if I need a bearing kit, if so which part number is it and how do I relpace the part. Is it completed from the top or the rear of the unit.
    Thank you for your time.
    David

I can't find it on Sears Parts Direct, but I can offer this:

Squeaks can come from the rear bearing, the idler or the motor or even the blower fan and parts.

The most likely cause is the rear bearing.

You had the right idea, but the wrong place. You don't oil belts.

You spray one thing at a time the rotating surfaces until the squeak goes away and that should be a rotating surfaces.
