So last Friday me and ma best friend went to go get our belly pierced and today when I looked at it it looks a little red and swollen and in da bottom is a little white thing I just want to now if its infected or not

Well in the first days your belly button will be kind of swollen and red because your belly button is not used to it yet. Don't freak out about the redness or the pain, I don't really know about the white thing that you have? When you went to go get it pierced and they did not clean the needle or not pierce it right, that might be the problem. Maybe it is infected, but I suggest going to that place again and ask if it is!

I have had my belly pierced on and off for 15 years. In between pregnancies. Any way, mine was always getting infected, and they always told me not to put neosporin on it, but that and Bactine are the only thing that ever helped me. Both found at Walgreens, Walmart, pretty much anywhere. Catch it before it get worse though, it will leave a nasty scar and that will kind of defeat the whole purpose of having your piercing!
