OK so there's this girl and I really like her right. So I heard she liked me and so I asked her to our homecoming dance and she said yes. So at the dance I was holding her hand and I had my arm around her and stuff so at the end of the dance I asked her out and she said initially I don't know and then told me she wanted to be my friend. So now, it's a week and a half later and I feel like I always see her looking at me and looking away quickly but I see her and her friends whispering and I thought I heard them saying something about her liking som1 and I don't know if its me and I'm worried about that.

Why would you want to be in a relationship with some one who does not know what they want? Asking someone out is too strait forward in some situations, let it come more naturally. If you just ask her to go to dinner you can get to know her a bit more.
