Can you withdraw from a 3 month lease with apartment complex
Hi, I'm currently waiting in the short sale process for a home I'm buying. I was forced to find a place for atemporary time since you never know with short sales. The problem is that I can't find a place that will rent for less than a 3 months lease. So what' I want to know is if I commit to a 3 month lease in a apartment complex, can I leave before the 3 months and not be forced to pay them for the remaining time. Do I only lose my deposit? Or what else can happen. I don't know what to do , I need a place asap too. This the state of ILlionis. Please help

Unless you can find a landlord who will agree to a month-to-month lease, you're going to be responsible for the rent for the entire term of the lease or until the landlord re-rents the property, whichever occurs first.
