Why won't my 7year old just won't get his act together?
I Have a 7year old that simple won't act right in school. At home he is a complete=ly different person but as soon he leaves the door to go to into that school he is just simply disrespectful and disobedient. I have changed schools several times thinking oh maybe its because of the atmosphere; maybe its because there are a lot of troubled children in the school, maybe it's the teachers? I have even went as far aas moving out of state and ll that seemed to do was make him worst! My child was never like this. I just don't know what is going on or what to do any longer I see myself not eating, crying and just always stressed out to the max. He is always punished; sometimes I spank him but very rarely do I spank him because I do not want to take my stress out on him. I sit him down and I speak to him; still no improvement. What am I to do??

Take him to a pshychologist and have him tested for behavioral learning disorders. You say you have moved, and changed schools. That is the first thing all concerned parents would want to do. But, consistency is the most important thing for children. The change in school environment will only exacerbate the situation. Sit down with the teacher and get on the same page. If your child is good at home, there is something at the school that needs to be fixed. It could be your child needs to be in a classroom that is smaller so that he can not be bombarded by so much stimulation from the other students.
