I've been having anxiety attacks my gp has referred me to a pysciatrist does anybody no how long this this will take?

Are you in UK or USA? In UK it usually depends on the waiting lists for the area you live in. You could ring your GP and ask what the waiting list time for your area is approximately. In meantime do some reading around subject and practice relaxation, being good to yourself :)

It depends in the US on the new doctors bookings, could be next day, could be 3 week?? Don't know till you call and ask.

If you live in America, you call and make an appointment since you have been referred to a certain psychiatrist. It may be a while before you will be given a time.
