Need the title to a childhood movie
I am hoping someone can remember the name to an animated mouse movie from my childhood. Probably came out in the mid to late 80's. All I really remember is it was about a mouse who wore a green hat and red shirt and I believe he either got lost or ran away from his family so he was kind of ragamuffin.

Was a big enough movie that I also remember having a giant stuffed toy of the mouse the movie was about and he had a long name maybe italian or something starting with an f or an r I think.

If anyone can help that would be awesome!

    An American Tale
The mouse actually wore a red shirt and blue hat. His name: Fievel Mousekewitz
It came out in 1986. Spielberg produced it.

Later An American Tale: Fievel Goes West came out in 1991.

Both of these were big movies.

Sounds similar to a childhood movie called "An American Tale". It was about a mouse who gets separated from his parents on a ship. There was a sequel called "Fievel Goes West". I'm not sure about the spelling but the mouses name was Fievel.
