Also, how much experience do you have in the type of work you are being hired to perform? More working experience usually means a higher salary.

It is a fairly good starting or med point wage for IT work in the Atlanta GA area. And would be OK in Nashville TN

If you are going to be in New York or Chicago, you will have a hard time paying your bills on that amount.
