Your local Home Depot store stocks most commonly needed replacement parts. You may also order any part at no charge by calling the toll-free customer support number for your product follow Bob's instruction, Thanks.

Glacier Bay is carried by Home Depot.
Most Glacier Bay faucets are manufactured by Globe Union Industrial Faucet Company of Canada , China, and elsewhere. Their brands, besides Pegasus and Glacier Bay, include Danze and Gerber.

    Hope this helps, Tom

Riskman, did you try to insert your model number and it still ran you around in circles? If so, sorry I gave you a bum steer.

Not a problem, I did get the phone number unfortunately they aren't very good about knowing their product, they didn't even answer the phone GLACIER BAY, it was a very nice little old lady who didn't even know what a model number was!

I bought a Glacier Bay shower faucet (because it was cheap) and was dismayed that it did not work due to what I believed was a missing part. I am not sure if it was my plumbers fault or Glacier Bay's fault.

Anyway, I called them at 888-328-2383. There was a small dialect problem but the technician sent a free part out right away and it worked. It is rare to find this type of customer service.

    Will buy from them again.

My five-year old sink faucet box had a useful phone number on it: 866-863-9931. I called Monday about a leaking valve. They sent me free replacements that arrived two days later. Quite painless once I found the phone number.

The local Home Depot even told me they'd had problems getting parts. I guess they don't want to sell replacement parts, but they'll warranty them. You'd think Home Depot would know the right procedure as they are THE distributor.

Also the box said glacierbayfaucets.info is the web site (different from searches and above posts), and it, too, does not work.

My faucet is model 814-278. It is a single handle tub/shower faucet and I needed a new cartridge. I called a bunch of toll free numbers. Finally, I called +1-888-328-2383 (that's US 888-328-2383) (thanks jymcnabb). A really nice woman in Montreal named Joy answered. She asked me about the problem with my faucet and said that she would send me a new cartridge at no cost and with free shipping! She said it would ship from Illinois and could take five to ten days to reach me -- however, she said that it would probably arrive sooner. She seemed to say that all Glacier Bay faucets had a lifetime warranty. She guaranteed that there would be no cost to me for the part. All in all, it was a very positive experience.

Glacier Bay is a Home Depot private brand Yes, there is a lifetime warranty. Getting the contact number is the problem.
I suggest that if you purchase a Glacier Bay product that you take note of the above contact number. Make and save a copy of the receipt and the skew number. The original receipt will fade in time. You will need the skew number because these products are made not only in China and Mexico but other places. HD needs the skew to tell the origin.

I do apologize for not having the model number on hand, but I just moved into a 2 year old house that has Glacier Bay fixutures throughout. The problem I'm experiencing is when I turn the water on, in the shower, water begins to come out of the showerhead before the lever is lifted on the faucet. Is there and adjustment that I can do to fix this or will I need to replace a cartridge?

    Thanks,

Barney1962, firstly, this thread is 8 years old. Next time, start your new thread.

In the interim: One of the two things is happening: Either your water pressure is way too high or your shower head is too low

Measure pressure in your house. It should be between 35 and 55 psi. If higher, reduce pressure at pressure regulator. If you don't have pressure regulator, install one.

If you have proper pressure, and shower head still leaks as you described - than your shower head is too low and you will have to raise it. That may require opening the wall and raising the shower head riser. Or, use existing shower head outlet, attach a Wall Union to it, install adjustable rail and hand-held shower head connected to the wall union via hose

Lastly, Glacier Bay is a Home Depot product. They should carry all replacement parts. Other than that, try Glacier Bay faucets / Tech support: 888-328-2383

    Hope that helps

    What Milo said.

    OR

The diverter on the spout is defective or possibly an obstruction in the spout . You would not replace the cartridge, you would replace the tub spout.

I would just replace the spout and see what happens.
