I have a commercial water heater. STATE model SBF80199NE. I've had it 8 years and worked great. Now it won't come on. Any commercial plumbers out there? Thanks

If electric... have you checked the breaker yet?

If gas... is pilot lit?

Hi. It is natural gas with electronic ignition. Elec. Coming in but not out of igniter. It doesn't even seem to try and do anything. Also the reset button is spring loaded, but when depressed, it doesn't click or anything.

Hey... as soon as it went to an electronic ignition... you lost me.

Post this question over in the electrical area.. see if maybe they have an idea. Sounds like the electronic ignition is gone but I can't be sure.

Otherwise, get on the phone and talk to the manufacturer... they may be able to tell you exactly what is wrong if you talk to the troubleshooting department.
