    What is definition of arrest?
Last year I got blue form requesting to appear in court and get fingerprinted, this was charge for theft under $5000 (Location: Toronto, CA). After given me this blue form police allowed me to go.

During my first appearance in court I was told to meet one guy associated with some charitable trust and I was requested to donate $100 to trust.
In second appearance I submitted the receipt of donation and I was told your case is dismissed/withdrawn.

After five months as suggested I have given the application to destroyed the fingerprint taken and I got the confirmation that request has been completed.

My question is Am I ever convicted or arrested in this case? Will I be having any criminal record for this case? What is definition of arrest and convicted.

Ok, you want to know if you will have a recond, that answer is no you should not.

Arrest is a tech term, you were charged, arrest means some form of custody where you were not free to leave.
