I have a 3 year old York heat pump and a 8 year old Goodman Furnace and a Honeywell Pro Th3110d digital thermostat. The problem is that the heat pump wants to run all the time after it cycles 4 or 5 times. Each time it cycles the air temps seem to get lower. If when it wants to run all the time I put it in Em heat for about 3 cycles then change back to normal heat it will run fine for about 4 or 5 cycles then it wants to run all the time again, doesn't make any difference what the outside temp is it will do this a 40degrees. A friend and I checked the register temps a week ago and got 95 when it first starts then in 5 minutes it will drop to 85 in another 5 it will drop below 80. I have had 2 Techs tell me there is nothing wrong with the unit but they are not here long enough to see how it works try to tell them and they say that is normal. I have had times when it have even lowered the temp in the house by 1 or 2 degrees. Anyone got any ideas??
Thanks
