    Marriage in courthouse
    What are the steps to get married in a courthouse? take heed i am only 18 and very new to this subject.:o

    1. have another person that will agree to get married ( opposite sex in most states)

    2. both of you go to courthouse with proper ID and get marriage license.

    3. this will differ by state, some will require you to get a blood test, and some my have a waiting period of 1 to 3 days, the clerk at the court will tell you.

    4. If there is no blood test or waiting period, then you make an appointment to see the judge.
    In some larger cities, the judge will have one time a day he does all marriages, some very large counties do it twice a day.

    Smaller court houses will work you in when the judge is in his office.

    *** also most places have a list of pastors who will come to the court house, or you can go to their home to be married also.
