    Here are my 4 estimates from southern Ohio contractors -
    None of them did a manual J that I know of.

    Goodman 3T LP gas 95 eff - 2200
    Goodman ARUF Air Handler 374316 3T - $2150
    Goodman 3T 14 SEER Heat Pump - $2200
    Or
    Amana 14 SEER 3T Heat Pump - $3550
    Or
    Tempstar LP DLX95 Heat Pump - $4850
    Or
    Westinghouse 13/14 Seer Heat Pump with R-410
    92% gas furnace - $5800

    That would be hard to guess at, from other parts of the country,, not knowing the cost per unit and the size of house,how well insulated,lots of questions to be asked,where I live in WV, right now its cheaper to heat with electric furnace and a high seer heat pump,, but that could change next year,, around here lp gas is out of sight,wouldn`t even think of considering lp

    Ranch style house, 2000 sq ft built in 1979
    Could probably use more insulation

    Call them back get the manual J done. If they do not know what that is get a different contractor. It is all in the other post.

    No one here is going to try and run a manual J from this board. You need to be there to do it correctly.
