I have a Carrier Weather Maker 8000 furnace. Blower operates properly but heat will not come on. I have run a diagnostic on system and determined igniter is operating. Gas does not seem to be coming on. Voltage at gas valve reads 11.6 v. Filter was dirty. Waited 3 hours for possibe reset as per furnace service manual... still no luck. Any suggestions

Are you sure the ignitor is glowing when the furness is turned on? Any flashing lites on the circuit board? And if so how many blinks?

Chech to see if there is a manual reset on that model. Usually a red reset button in the center of a thermal disc
