How do I search for warrants

In some cases you can't for obvious reasons. The cops don't like to tip their hands as to just who and who does not have current warrants.

    Hi, BBOP64!

In addition to the above, sometimes it's possible to find out online if a warrant has been issued for someone. Varies by the state or jurisdiction as to what's available online though.

Why are you asking the question, please?

    Thanks!

It will completely depend on the state. In general a police criminal background search will show all.

I don't know which state you live in but in Ohio you can search through the municipal court (public records) and on that same page it will be highlighted if that person has an active warrant.so try the site in your state that lets you look up court cases.

Call the police department. They will usually tell you of the warrant. But you must either be a lawyer to find out or family member who wants to clear the warrant with police

How would a family member clear another family member's warrant?

I can see the Attorney attempting to get the issue resolved but I don't see what a family member could do.

    Which State are you addressing?

Actually no, the police will not tell you over the phone if there is a warrant, and in most places they willl not tell you of the warrant unless it is you personally.
