I am placing 12" x 12" mirrored tiles on my kitchen wall under the cabinets. Oh course there are outlets. I did try cutting two of them but they broke.
What is the best way to cut a rectangle in mirrored tiles with breaking them?

The only way Im aware of is to drill them. When you " score " glass your actually creating a fault line for the fracture to follow. Cutting any kind of a shape into glass would result in uncontrolled fault lines. By drilling you would be creating stops for the fault line to end. Might be best to take then to a professional and have then cut the holes in there for you. What you invest in tools to do it yourself would be cost prohibitive.
I would go the pro route, actually I'd go with ceramic tile rather than mirror but its too late for that.
I did an "L" shaped cut in a piece of mirror tile by hot wire and a drop of water. Just had to nibble a little bit to get it square.
I'd go the professional route.
