    Dog pooping in the house.
I have a 4 year old Chihuaha/Pomeranian mix. He was completely house trained as a puppy but as soon as I moved from the house I got him in he started pooping on the floor. He can be outside for hours but as soon as I let him in and I leave or go to bed he poops on the floor. He never urinates in the house just number 2 and its usually in the same area! Why does he do this or how can I get him to stop??

He may be unsure of the new house, and he doesn't feel at home, so he is rebelling. Make sure you clean the spot where he keeps on going with bleach, or a similar green clean product. Clean the whole area thoroughly, so he can no longer be attracted to that area.

Does your dog just stay outside in the backyard by himself? Or do you take him on a long walk or run before you bring him in. If you take him for excersise, he will get to know the new smells of the new place that you are in, and more likely come to accept it as his new home. It will also get his bowels moving, and will not have anything to poop out once you get home.

    Good luck!
