I was supposed to get my period the 2nd of November, didn't get it until the 4th, and it was more of a spotting not period, it ended that night and the 6th I got it, again it was heavy at first then light until the 10th when it ended, then on the 16th I got it again heavy, and today the 18th it ended about 8 pm. I was on ortho-cept birth control pill, but due to an allergic reaction I stopped taking it on the 4th of this month. I usually have normal periods, never anything like this, and my period is usually 5-7 days and I usually have it every 23-25 days. My fiancée and I do have sex, but other then the birth control which I stopped, we only use the pull out method. What could be going on? Thanks!

This happens often when your body is adjusting to not taking the birth control. It sounds completely normal. You can always double check with your OB/GYN who prescribed the Ortho-cept.
