    Attach a code reader to the Data Link Connector, under the dash, and read the codes stored in the ECM's memory. Some AutoZone stores will do this for free.

    I have a 1996 Accord and the Data Link Connector is behind the ashtray... In NC Auto Zone or Advanced Auto will tell you the code for free..
