OK so here I've been hanging out with this girl that I thought was fun and outgoin.but then I realized that she was very boring non athletic and lazy. The total opposite of me. If I tell her I don't want to be her friend then she will be heart broken but I've been hanging out with her and everyone else in my class ignores me what should I tell my friend? Please help me . Ps all of my closest friends are in the other class... and I only see them at lunch... =[

Friendships come and go all the time. No need to TELL her you don't want to be her friend. Just gradually spend less time with her. Make one excuse this week, two next.

I doubt her heart will be broken. Nobody likes to be rejected, though, even by someone they don't like. And don't entirely rule out the possibility that she is a bit bored with your company, too. It sounds like you were spending a lot of time together?

neverme is right. Be nice to this person you befriended. Don't say anything rejecting or mean. You could even bring her into your other circle of friends and maybe she'll make friends with some other people. Then nobody gets hurt.

All you have to do is start hanging out with other people and don't really say anything. Soon she will get the idea. In fact I'm going through an issue like that. My friend is really sensitive and boring and all she does is complain. Whenever I say "i was already going to sleep-over with her." she pulls me over in class and says "you're not spending enough time with me" and starts crying. But I started to make new friends and I think she's getting the idea.
