Oil filters are matched to the engine, not the brand of the log splitter. What engine and model do you have? A Napa filter 1259 is not an oil filter, it's a tramsmission filter number.

I had a similar issue with mine, maybe it helps someone...
The best solution is, I hope you still have the old one :p
Take the old filter to NAPA and let them cross you one.
