I think I can answer your question... I have a 16 yr.old son and I've heard a lot about the break thing:) Anytime a girl would ask him for a break... the girl would ask for anywhere from a week to a month and sorry to say in these cases the girl always would break up with him.:( I'm sorry to tell you this!

The bad news... it is over. The good news... you are still alive. It happens man. Just move on and now you don't have to worry about making anyone happy but yourself.

It depends: on the reason of break up and quality of the overall relationship.

Most times a break means it's over, but, like everything else in life, there's no guarantee with anything. If she wants a break then take a break. Move on with your life as if you are single (which you are). If she comes back and says she still wants you, then it's up to you whether you want her back.

I agree with Altenweg, move on as much as you can because for right now its over... but nothings written in stone.

I's a cushion for a bigger blow, it is over but life goes on. The sun will still shine tomorrow and you will realize that you deserve better.

Doing a break is seeing what life is like without that person.. either she will like it or not. But do u think u deserve to sit around all sad and wait, or find out if life better without her as well?

Yes it does, unless she changes her mind. If she does she will let you know. Just don't hold your breath for that to happen.
