    Premenopausal periods
Wondering if you could answer a question for me. In all the reading I have done about premenopausal they talk about irregular periods. Longer, shorter, disappearing for a month or 2 and coming back. No where in there do they say anything about having your period every week to 2 weeks. Is it a normal part of premenopausal to have your period showing up every week to 2 weeks and lasting a full week. This has been going on for 4 months now.
    Your help would be appreciated.
    Thanks,

That is not one of the symptoms of premenopausal periods. I would suggest that you see your GYN to figure out if you have a cyst on your ovaries. This seems to be one of the causes for periods to last that long and occur every week or 2 weeks.
