Could I be an officer with a felony?
I just got my ged and I got in trouble a couple years ago and I have 2 charges dealing with marijuana, and I was wondering if I could still be an officer? I was under hyda but my boyfriends sister and I got in trouble for stealing a lawn gnome (that we didn't steal) long story shot, my record is visible and I really want to be an officer! I was wondering if anyone know knew if that's possible for me... pm I live in Michigan!

    Possible, maybe, but not likely.
You have several things first just the GED, most departments while accept GED, actually hire those with college degrees, some officers applying will even have a masters. Many departments will not even consider you with a felony record, others may consider you but you will be at the end of the list.

You may have a chance with your state corrections department or animal control. And even that will depend on the state and department
