Do you usually go to jail for your first probation violation ?

There ain't anything usual about probation violations. If you killed somebody to get violated, then you'll probably do some jail time... But, if you just got a speeding ticket, I don't think they'll put you away...

Was the crime you did to violate serious. If you were convicted of selling drugs and you had a dity test, they may send you to jail for a bit.

If you are on probation for writing a bad check and you were speeding, most likely no.
