Be put on lease. 2 weeks ago I was told that I could be on the lease as long as I paid half the rent (was told I only had to pay $150 per week. And cook and clean ) . Tonight when I got off work I was told I had to go asap. We are living with him in an apartment and I have a 2 year old daughter. I have had mail sent here. I need to know the Florida laws on how long I have to leave. This is very important, I have a 2 yr old and cannot be homeless. I currently do not have the money to get my own place but I will with a little more time. I need to know how long I have. I tried to get put on the lease and was told a bunch of bs. The guy is a pathological liar and I just need more time. :confused: please help me!

Florida law states that if you pay your rent weekly, the landlord must give you 7 days notice to vacate.

If you pay monthly, landlord must give 15 days notice.

OK well today he said the apartment people are giving me until Saturday to leave. He has been telling everyone I don't pay a dime and now he is saying he wants me out by Saturday
