Best friend's Husband accuses us of being lesbians.
I'm in a very hurtful and angry predicament right now. My best friend of 11 years, her husband, my husband and our 4 kids are very close. However, on a recent trip to Vegas with my friend and her hubby, he got all bent out of shape and accused her and I of being lovers!

Anyhow, after many discussions and many hurtful/uncomfortable times, I was finally able to let my guard down in his presence again.

At my birthday party this past Saturday, he had the same blow up. Aparently I had reached over and given her a kiss on the cheek and that was enough to "prove it" to him again.

Her and I have a typical female friendship - we've been pregnant at the same time, have worked together, our kids play together and we talk often. Why is he assuming that our relationship must has some hidden sexual agenda?

I'm ready to tell him off because I'm so angry... am I justified?

Absolutely.. he should know who you are and you are, apparently, not a lesbian. Definitely not fair, especially when you have uncomfortably addressed this issue.

Wow... he blew up from just a kiss on the cheek? That's not on... It wasn't a passionate kiss on the lips or anything so what's wrong with him?

I say tell him, keep telling him till he gets it, and don't feel bad, because its not your fault, he is just insecure or ain't used to a girl kissing another girl on he cheek.

You should look into why he is accusing you two of this...

It sound like he has some problems going on. Whether it's he just jealous of you having so much time together with his wife, seeing that you are friends, and how you enjoy eachother's company, it might be making him jealous.
    OR
I had one experience of mine was when one of my buddys cheated on his girl, he got defensive and jealous of everything she did, thinking that she was cheating on him, or that she was going to leave him for another guy. I found it sad, but also kind of ironic.

Who knows what going on, but it starting with him, and your friend needs to sit him down and talk to him.

Well I just see it as very good friends... I am a lesbian so I think I have an idea of what I say... I have friends like that to and I don't do anything with them so.. yeah you should talk to him and explain...

He sounds a bit homophobic. Of course, we have a double standard. If he gave his male friend a kiss on the check some folks might be saying he's gay; but, yeah, he's overreacting.

Homophobic? Is he a person who likes drama like just creates it for no reason because, this would seem like a perfect scenario if that might be the case.
