Gas Fireplace main burner will not light, pilot is fine
Hi all. I've got my pilot to light no problem. Then I turn gas knob to "on" as per instructions. I "adjust" switch on thermostat on wall only to hear clicking noise coming from inside panel of fireplace but the main burner doesn't light (like it used to last winter). I believe it's the main valve making clicking noise but not sure. Any ideas on what to check?

I have a multimeter and took these readings at the thermostat:

    1) switch turned off = .370 Volts DC
    2) switch turned on = .016 Volts DC (and clicking noise of what I believe is valve firing).

Also took these readings under panel:

    1) with thermostat off : TP/TH to TH terminal = 0.386 Volts DC
    2) with thermostat on: TP/TH to TH terminal = 0.034 Volts
    3) with thermostat on: TP/TH to TP terminal = 0.199 volts

One other note; when I turn on thermostat, the blue pilot flame does extend a little to the right and left. But definitely doesn't turn on to make any noticeable heat.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Actually, I think my main burner is "sorta" lit since the flame is going across the burner... except its only a short blue flame across. HOw do I test gas pressure?
