    child support collection unit bull!
me and my ex recently went to court for child support and we decided on an amount and I had to send that amount every week with money order and the docket # said to me by the judge. Now I have sent out 6 money orders to child support collections unit and I just received z letter saying that I am behind that they only received 3 money orders of 7 and now my boss just let me know they were going to start this week taking out double the amount of support out of my check. Now I called them and they said that I was supposed to write the account # not the docket # that's why its taking so long to get to her account. Can I get them in trouble for this stupid stuff?

2nd question in regards to support collection unit.
yes I called them today and told them I sent the money orders in and I have proof. They said they can't do anything about that till they get sent to the account. Is there a number to call to find those missing 3 money orders? Can't the collection unit look for them?

Who do you want to get in trouble? But basically, no. I'm not sure why the judge would have said the docket number because every support order that I've ever looked at has two of it's own numbers (or at least one in your case the account number). The only person that you could lay blame on would be the judge for (I'm guessing) accidentally said docket rather than account but if you try to "get him/her in trouble" for it you are just going to get laughed at. If you have to bring in all your reciepts from the money orders to show that they were purchased and you can check on those money orders to see if they have been cashed in yet.

As soon as you received that letter you should have called them and told them that you hsve sent money orders as ordered and have the receipts to prove it.

This post needs to be combined with the other one then you just reply in the answer section at the bottom of the page. On the part of the money order that you keep for your records there is a number that you can call to see if it has been cashed yet. However, if they did receive them and they are just trying to match the docket number with the account number then you might just have to wait for it and remember to use the account number next time.

I have combined your posts, these don't work like blogs, you need to post additional info as a answer to the question. If not we have no idea what you are talking about.

But you will have to go back to court and prove you paid, and they really could care less, most likely they are over worked under caring government employees that assume you are lying until proved right.

So you will have to see about getting the money orders traced to prove who cashed them, and submit this to them,
