There is no cure for arthritis at present, and the treatments vary according to the type and location of the arthritis.

For my arthritis in my hands, knees, hips, I use a cream from Australia called Ovaderm Cream. I have also stumbled onto a pain reliever cream called Mobisyl cream. Rather inexpensive and that helps me also.

There is no cure but you can manage it. Some foods will trigger it and make it worse. Some people have more problems when they eat dairy or meats. Some people have flair ups from night shade plants... potatoes, tomatoes, green peppers, onions, egg plant,

Some people swear by Glucosamine & Chondroitin but I found that hylaronic acid helps me best. Omega or flax is also good.
External muscle rubs such as oil of capsicum help some too.

No cure for either of the two most common types-rheumatoid-immune system based and Osteo-wear and tear based. There are many other types such as sero-negative but the above two cover most people. Western trained doctors will try to get you to take pharmas like methetraxate or the biologics. Do not agree until you Google the side effects. These pharmas are dangerous because they treat symptoms and cause damage and do not address root cause which, for the most part is inflammation. You can check with your family dr if you like but most family doctors are almost totally ignorant when it comes to nutrition, alternative medicine etc.
Arthritis is in my family and I have it but it is completely controlled with a program of antinflammatories-not pharmaceuticals- but rather items which include quercetin, curcumin, MSM, S.A.M.E. low dose aspirin, fish oils, bromelein all of which are easily and in most cases, cheaply available at your local health food store.
No pain and range of motion has almost completely been restored. For more information check out Life Extension Foundation which funds research in arthritis and a whole host of other medical conditions.

Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis, and Psoriatic arthritis are not curable.

There are some types of arthritis that are “curable” or that can be put in remission. These include:
    * Lyme disease and bacterial arthritis - Both can be cured by antibiotics.
    * Arthritis due to a virus, such as Parvovirus will run its course without treatment.
    * Gout is a type of arthritis that can be put into remission by lowering the blood levels of uric acid.
