I am trying to help my mom who is looking for her half sitster that my grandma gave up for adoption we have very little information about her we have a guess about the year which is 1955-1957 and the city but not the hospital. I was a closed adoption so I know it's going to be hard but if anyone has any tips we would apprcate it very much thanks

Your best bet would be one of the many sites that allows parties to post the info with the hope that the other party will see the information and respond.

Without more info it's very, very difficult - and closed adoptions (particularly at that time) were extremely confidential, almost impossible to open.
