    Feta Cheese
Hi, I was just wondering... I have read soooooo mant articles saying to stay away from unpastrized feta cheese. I know to stay way from those but I've been eating greek salads that has pastrized feta all the time. I even put extra feta.. lol. Is it safe to eat it? Like my baby is fine so far that I know of.. lol. Anyone know? PS: I'm 6 months pregnant and have been eating feta since day one.

Personally I stay away from anything that's not pasteurized... like milk and milk products.
You mentioned you have been eating only pasteurized feta cheese... I would say stick w/ the pasteurized... why change to unpasteurized ? Pastrurized is the safest for you and baby.
    Hope this helps you :)

Avoid eating soft cheeses because some foods can become contaminated with bacteria called Listeria. If you become sick from Listeria, the baby you're carrying could get sick or worse case scenario it could be fatal.

Eat eat hard cheeses instead of soft cheeses while you are pregnant. Avoid feta, brie, camebert and blue-veined cheese like Roquefort.

Have you seen a nutristionist yet? You can also talk to your doctor about what food to avoid during your pregnancy.
