I have witnessed strange things going on in my apt.
My family and I have moved into this apt. about 5 months ago. My younger brother has witness a dark figure moving towards him from my bedroom while I was in it resting. We wake up around 530am to drive mom to work after we got in vehicle we would see our porch light turn off as we backed out of drive way. After returning home we unlocked door and switch on wall was in the off position. One more thing.. I have woke up joking and gasping for air from my sleep. I have also been pushed towards my wall while in bed sleeping. My mom has witness this happening to me. The joking is getting worse. Last one was lastnight and mom came into bed room telling me to breath, but when trying to respond to her I would caugh continuing to grasp for air. This has never happened to me and I have no health issues expalining to joking. Im scared for my safety and no clue on what needs to be done. Me mom and brother ask anyone for help and advice. Please respond back. Lakewood, WA

Sounds like something out of the norm to me. Try a paranormal investigator in your home town! ASAP until then I would try to stay out of the house!

First, I assume you've been meaning to write "choking," not "joking," right?

You don't need a paranormal investigator. I think you need a doctor.

It sounds like you're suffering from sleep apnea. Even if you think it's a paranormal issue, you should still go to rule this out. Sleep apnea is rather common, but it does need to be taken seriously.

You can find information on sleep apnea by following this link: Sleep apnea - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

There's also a version of it called "obstructive sleep apnea."

The following summary comes from wikipedia: Obstructive sleep apnea - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a common sleep apnea caused by obstruction of the airway. It is characterized by pauses in breathing during sleep. These episodes, called apneas (literally, "without breath"), each last long enough that one or more breaths are missed, and occur repeatedly throughout sleep. In obstructive sleep apnea, breathing is interrupted by a physical block to airflow, despite the effort to breathe.

The individual with sleep apnea is rarely aware of having difficulty breathing, even upon awakening. Sleep apnea is recognized as a problem by others witnessing the individual during episodes or is suspected because of its effects on the body (sequelae). Symptoms may be present for years, even decades without identification, during which time the sufferer may become conditioned to the daytime sleepiness and fatigue associated with significant levels of sleep disturbance."

I don't think you have a ghost problem. I think you might be scaring yourself/yourselves into thinking you do.

Thank you for posting this update! I'm not a doctor, but I do know someone with this problem. I would be very curious to hear what your doctor thinks. If you don't mind, tell us what he/she says. It might be helpful to anyone else who suffers from a similar issue, whether turns out to be sleep apnea or not. :)
