Cat pee-white, Cat "sharts", horrible gas, screams at night
Please help me & my cat! I took in a stray in July- orange cat, had huge paws so I knew it was a little older, but I was STARVED! I have never seen a cat with bones sticking out like his! He had never been neutered but obviously at some point was someone's cat because he came right to us and is just a complete lover of a cat.
Started feeding him but kept him outside at night, let him in after about 3 weeks of feeding him and watching his habits and attitude (I was scared because I was pregnant and unsure of what to expect from a stray.) So we "adopted" the fella and he is a great and wonderful pet. We kept him him probably 3 or 4 times a week but let him stay out the other few nights- he was always at the door in the morning for food and loving!
While we were letting him in, he never went to the bathroom inside. But... he did "shart". Every time he farted it stunk so badly and we would wake up and it was like he "peed poop out his but duringa fart" and you could hear it! GROSS! The bed would have a spot on it like he peed, but it was a hint of brown and a spot of brown... we would catch him farting and during a fart he would drip out his butt onto the floor. But he NEVER deliberately pooped in the house or peed!! EVER!
Now a few weeks ago we moved to an apartment and I could't bare to get rid of him- so we brought him here, put in a litter box for the first time and he used I, never a problem. But now he "Screams" at night for no reason. Tonight I woke to him screaming, as I came out of the bedroom he was in the hallway, still screaming, I went to the bathroom, came out and tripped over him- when I did (I guess you can say in the trip I kicked him in the stomach- but not hard, just stumbled over him!) and he sprayed orangish poop everywhere- all over the wall and floor. I cleaned it up and went to find him and he was using his litter box like normal. So Why is that?
Also- his pee is white foam in his box and he takes FOREVER to pee when it's like this. The smell is unbearable! I'm about ready to have a baby iin a few weeks now- our cat is a GREAT cat, but I am really worried about himand don't know what to do with this problem. The cost of a vet is ridiculous around here and nobody will work with us on payments so I don't know what to do. Please help me...
Pee odor is unbearable
White foam in pee/takes long time to pee
Farts/Sharts constantly without "meaning" to
Touched stomach (tripped over) and runny poop came spraying out his butt and hit walls and floor
Screaming and meowing for no reason at night
