I am hoping someone can please shed some light on my situation..

My partner and I decided to try for a baby for the 1st time last month, and had sex around my ovulation time. I am now 9 days late which isn't my norm as I'm very regular however when doing a home test ( a few home test ) they have said negative

As I have never been pregnant before I'm very eager to find out one way or the other, I am booked in at my GP on Monday so if I haven't got my period by then ,I shall take a blood test...
I was just wondering if anyone has been in my position before as like I mentioned I'm never late!

The blood test will give you a more accurate reading, as some women will not test positive on a urine test for several weeks.
You could very well be pregnant, or your period may just show up late. Fingers crossed for a positive result on your blood test!

Well its sods law that the day after posting my question I get my period... oh well,lol

Awww, sorry about that. Hope you don't have to try too long to get your positive result!
