    Pull Chain on Ceiling fan
    My son pulled to hard on the chain to the ceiling fan and it came out. How Can I fix this at home?

    You have to replace the whole switch. Good hardware stores will have the part you need. Turn off the breaker first. Take pictures and label EVERYTHING as you take it apart. Take your old switch with you and get one like it and put it back in reverse order.

    What he said, heh. Just take the old part with you to the store, because there are several types of pull chain switches. They are cheap too.. under $10 usually.
