I have been paying my car loan for the last 4 years and got laid off. I missed 3 months of payment and now I am facing repossession. What options do I have? I just found another job and really need the car. I am upside down on the loan and I owe more than its value.

The lender does not want your car, have you been calling the lender and talking with them on a regular basis.

I would go into the lender personally, tell them where you are goig to work, and see if they will work out a deal to let you catch up the payments
