    I was born in germany and was brought here at 6 weeks old have had a green card all my life and want to get a pass port what can I do

    Perhaps you are already a US citizen... first of all, you need to find out if your parents or either one of them became naturalized or not. If either one or both of them became naturalize before you reached the age of 16, you are already a US citizen. If this applies to you, submit form N-600 to USCIS and you will get a Certificate of Naturalization. With this document, you can get US passport.

    If your parents are still a green card holders, never become naturalized, you are still eligible to apply for German passport. Contact the nearest German Consulate here: German Missions in the United States - Consulates General
