Marking on an 18cy gold Ring
    Hi All

Hope someone can help, I have a ring I was about to sell on eBay for scrap but before I do can anyone tell me what the marking on it mean. It is stamped 750 which I think is 18ct gold and has a star shape and beside it the number 457 VI (*457 VI). I should mention there is a green stone that I think is emerald and 10 small white stones possible diamonds but I am not sure.

    Please help :confused

Your Ring indeed has a European Marking for 18K. Count on the stones being Diamonds. And the large green stone could be an emerald. You should have it appraised. European Gold, diamonds and precious stones could prove to be valuable. I wouldn't sell it for scrap. Is sounds beautiful to me.
