Cant seem to get Moms bowels moving regular
I have tried everything that I can think of to keep Mom ( age 76 ) regular but nothing at this point seems to work. I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions that we can try. I am at this point open to any thoughts. If you know of something that we can even get at the drug store please feel free to let me know as maybe I haven't thought of that product.
    Thanks

Is she taking any medications that may be effecting her? Any health conditions that may be playing a role? If so, would be wise to speak to her doctor just to be sure what she may take over the counter is compatible with any meds she may be on.
Other than the usual... plenty of fiber (foods would be ideal but you can buy products for this), plenty of fluids each day, prunes or prune juice, sometimes orange juice helps, some of the newer yogurts are designed for helping digestion... I can't really think of anything else.

Mom is on no meds at this point and time and she just got a clean bill of health like oh maybe 4 months ago. She does drink prune juice daily and that doesn't seem to work also she eats her fruits and veggies like there is no tomorrow. I am thinking that I will ask maybe the pharmacist and see what they think..
    Thanks
    Have a great day
