    Weekend forfeit for parent
I have primary physical custody of my child. Per the court order, the other parent gets one month out of the weekend besides their normal time. However, per the court order, if the parent decides to work that weekend, they forfeit that weekend. However, the other parent will not say so. The child came back home and said who watch him while the parent worked. I started to mail a letter once a month before that weekend comes up reminding that parent about the court order. I started the letter because my child just wants to spend time with the other parent. Anyway, that parent now is saying they will get me for harassment. I don't think they can do that. But this other parent is a little out there. My child asked me to talk to the other parent, but that did not work. What do I do? Why should I have to drive to check to see if they are working or not? How do I go about making it clear to this parent what the best interest is for the child? Thanks for any advice you can give me.:(

OK, we know what the court order says, BUT, so they have to work to pay bills, we all do, who watches the kids when you have them and you have to work ?

So you work things out with your ex and you understand that at times he has to work, but he is still there in the evening ( or when he is off) that is still extra time he has with them.

I guess my big issue does it really matter, since it appears he is taking good care and supplying someone to watch if he does work.
