Hi. First off, I've played the Bb Clarinet for two years. Bb Contrabass Clarinet for 1. And now I'm trying to learn the Bb Soprano Saxophone for Jazz Band when I get to High School. I know you can play Clarinets in a Jazz Band, but they're usually drowned out by the brass/saxophones. I can make notes on it easy, with a Clarinet Embouchure. But when I get down to F, G, and Middle C, it jumps a register.

Please help with this. Techniques, anything is appreciated.

Also, please do keep up on playing and learning those woodwind instruments!

Depending on the ones you play and how well you play them, being able to play them can be part of your "ticket" to a college or university some day in terms of scholarships.

Another thing is, if you eventually might want to play professionally in some kind of group for shows or dances, frequently, those woodwind scores will require the persons playing to be able to double on more than one instrument.
